I didn't spend the night so I can't rate the rooms. I did come inside for a cold beer after a ride across Telamina road. The view is excellent from anywhere around the grounds. Great stopping point if you're doing this ride.

We live in the area now, so we just go to the restaurant occasionally for a meal, usually when we have family or friends visiting. The food truly does not disappoint. We did stay there once back in 2020 and the hotel is very nice. Service has always been top-notch. Getting to the location, driving nearly 14 miles to the top of Rich Mountain, is half the fun. Whether spring, summer or Fall, it is a beautiful drive. Once you get there, the view is something you have to experience.

I took my parents to stay in the lodge on Oct 28th, their 70th wedding anniversary. Our stay was wonderful. We met Casey, the park manager, and she was great! We enjoyed learning about the park and the lodge. She answered our questions which gave us an insight to the work she and the staff do. The food was great, and the rooms/beds were wonderful. Best sleep ever! We had an issue the morning we were going home. The girls at the front desk immediately responded with help, along with Casey, plus another guest that helped us. I extend my heart felt thank yous to all involved. All of you were amazing. I am hoping to be back soon.

With its unique location, the view from and around Queen Wilhelmina Lodge is unparalleled especially during peak fall colors. A couple of short trails starting from here lead to some breathtaking views. The on-site restaurant is somewhat lacking both in quality and selection. Having to drive to Mena daily for a decent meal could become tiresome for visitors on a longer stay.
